We finished this secret Fife single malt for several months in a fresh tequila barrel, which has given the whisky a lovely peppery kick.
 
Nose 
Foam bananas, upside down pineapple cake, sweet tea, Apple skins, wax crayons and a whisper of pencil shavings
 
Palate 
Fresh ginger, marzipan, beeswax, Agave syrup, tingling white pepper, pineapple, raspberry, strawberry laces, light honey, lemon rind, tea, very oily
 
Finish 
Lemon zest, bay leaves, banana bread, black tea, More white pepper, light honeydew melon, caramel, vanilla and gentle reposado.
